Page Authority (“PA”) is an SEO score developed by Moz, a company that builds SEO and marketing tools. Your website’s Page Authority score ranges from 0-100. Utilizing a machine learning algorithm, Page Authority predicts how well your website will rank on search engines.
Page Authority is similar to Domain Authority, except that it is used to assess the strength of individual pages on a website, whereas Domain Authority is used to assess the strength of an entire website (or subdomain).
How is Page Authority Calculated?
Moz uses over 40 different factors to calculate your Page Authority.
A few factors are:

- The total number of links to your website
- The root domains of incoming links to your website
The algorithm constantly updates with new information, which can lead to changes in your web page’s score.
What Does a Specific Page Authority Score Mean?
A low Page Authority score does not mean that your web page is incorrectly optimized for search engines. If one of your web pages scores is higher than another, it could mean that the page has more useful inbound/outbound links.
